The Division of Acute Care Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha isÂ
recruiting an accomplished and forward-thinking physician to serve as Trauma Medical Director.

The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible inÂ
Surgical Critical Care and has completed a Surgical Critical Care fellowship. Candidates will bringÂ
3-5 years of post-fellowship experience in trauma and acute care surgery. Demonstrated leadership,Â
clinical excellence, and collaborative skills and passion for advancing trauma care, education, andÂ
research in an academic medical center environment required.
The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Surgical Critical Care and has completed a Surgical Critical Care fellowship.
